10 Best Smartphones with Hybrid Sim Slot

Best Smartphones with Hybrid Sim Slot

Nowadays, smartphones come in various shapes and sizes, including various ports, slots, and buttons. Speaking about slots, have you heard about Hybrid SIM slot? Well, let me tell you; Hybrid SIM Slot can be both good and not-that-bad, but that’s the topic for another time. Essentially, it’s a slot where you can put two SIM cards and use your phone like a Dual-SIM phone, or put one SIM card and one SD card. Basically, it functions like a slot, both for SIM card and SD card, saving you some space on the phone and allowing for a bigger battery. So, what are the 10 best smartphones with Hybrid SIM slot? Read below.

1. Samsung Galaxy S8

Galaxy S8 is the best smartphone you can find at the moment when we talk about Android phones. This beautiful-looking beast packs a 5.8″ bezel-less display, with a crystal clear resolution of 2960×1440, so it’s a sort of ultra-wide display here. Under the hood, S8 sports a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 CPU clocked at 2.35Ghz, and with Adreno 540, you are ensured that you can play high-end games and enjoy watching movies and series. With its 4GB of RAM, Galaxy S8 will give you a great multitasking experience, even if you open several games and browse the internet. Simply amazing machine!

2. Samsung Galaxy S7

Measuring around 5.1″ in size, Galaxy S7 is an older brother to S8, but hey, this “old” brother packs quite a punch! Under the hood, there is an octa-core Mongoose and Cortex A53 CPU, clocked at 2.3GHz and 1.6Ghz respectively, and with Mali T880 MP12 GPU, the games will run just fine. Of course, I would prefer Adreno GPU here, but hey, Galaxy S7 will blow you away with its performance, plus it has a great battery life and camera, which is worth mentioning.

3. Huawei P9 Plus

While P9 Plus might not be that impressive compared to the Samsung phones, it still is a great phone. It comes with the 12MP camera, that can record in 1080p at 30 fps, great 1080p screen, and an Octa-core CPU, along with 4GB of RAM. The display here is AMOLED type, which means a crystal-clear image, with lots of pixel density (~401 ppi) and great brightness. Performance-wise, P9 Plus works really well, and thanks to the hardware that I mentioned, you’ll have no problem in multitasking, surfing the web and gaming, due to a solid Mali T880 MP4 GPU.

4. Xiaomi Redmi Pro

Xiaomi Redmi Pro looks similar to some of iPhone models, but it’s a pity that it isn’t that good! Just kidding, Redmi Pro boasts a great 5.5” AMOLED display, with 1080p resolution. Aside from that, you’ll like a dual-camera boasting 13MP and 5MP, that will let you shoot the best selfies ever, and record great video clips! You can buy this phone in several versions, and there are varieties when it comes to RAM amount and CPU clock, while the GPU is Mali T880 MP4, which is a solid performer for the price. Also, if you are not satisfied with the Hybrid slot, you can expand it using a Hybrid Sim Adapter.

5. Oppo F1 Plus

Last year was a great year for smartphones, and Oppo F1 Plus happens to be launched that year. This not-that-popular smartphone comes with 5.5″ AMOLED display, boasting a 1080p resolution, and an octa-core CPU. With its hardware, F1 Plus resembles Galaxy J7, meaning that it’s a mid-range smartphone, but it doesn’t mean that this boy is bad. With 4GB of RAM, this one can easily handle your multitasking needs, but don’t expect to do some heavy gaming here, since there is Mali T860MP2 GPU, which is now a low-end GPU.

6. Oppo R9 Plus

The main star of this phone is a great 16MP camera, capable of recording 2160p videos, which works great. Aside from that, Oppo R9 Plus has 4GB of RAM, a VERY big 6.0” screen with 1080p resolution and Adreno 510 GPU, which is good for gaming. While CPU isn’t high-end, being a Snapdragon 625 CPU, it still manages to do great for the most part, but have in mind that Oppo R9 Plus isn’t that expensive smartphone, and just look at these specs. Sounds great to me!

7. Xiaomi Redmi Note 4

Xiaomi is known for some great smartphones coming at an affordable price, and Redmi Note 4 isn’t an exception. Although it doesn’t have extraordinary specs, I still think that 5.5″ 1080p IPS screen will satisfy all your needs, along with good Snapdragon 625 CPU and Adreno 510 GPU. On top of that, there are 32/64 GB of space, and 2/3/4 GB of RAM, so you can choose whatever variant you want. Definitely a good phone for the cheap price.

8. Samsung Galaxy A7 (2016)

Although it’s released at the end of 2015, Galaxy A7 is still an amazing phone. Sporting a 3GB of RAM, 5.5″ AMOLED 1080p display, and a great Li-Ion 3300mAh battery, Galaxy A7 will surely provide you with a lot of a great time using it. Galaxy A7, however, isn’t great for gaming with its Mali T720MP2 GPU, and 16 GB of ROM, but hey, this phone is considered to be a mid-range phone, so for that price, it does a great job.

9. Asus Zenfone 3 Ultra

I was really surprised to see that Zenfone 3 Ultra packs a huge 23MP camera sensor, but it can only record 1080p videos, which is odd. Nevertheless, if you like huge screens and phablets, then this phone, or call it phablet is for you. It packs a 6.8″ IPS screen, with 1080p resolution. On the hardware side, Snapdragon 625 and Adreno 510 will ensure that you can play games on it, plus the big screen equals a great gaming experience. The Li-Ion 6400mAh battery will also ensure that you don’t reach for your charger that often.

10. Huawei G9 Plus

G9 Plus is yet another mid-range phone emerged from Huawei, in the summer of 2016. Well, is it any good? For a mid-range class, yes. It sports a Snapdragon 625 CPU and Adreno 506 GPU, which is a little less capable GPU, while there are variants with 64GB ROM and 4GB RAM, and 32GB ROM and 3 and 4GB of RAM. Not much of a difference between them, except for the ROM, so you’ll not notice a performance difference. Also, a 5.5″ IPS screen packs 1080p resolution, and while it’s not that sharp due to its IPS panel, it still is a solid one. Finally, I think you’ll like a 16MP camera here, capable of recording 2160p videos.
