10 Best Smartphones with 4GB RAM

Best Smartphones with 4GB RAM

Smartphones come in various shapes and sizes, and when you look at today’s smartphones specs, you can clearly see how far we’ve come. While 4GB of RAM was a LOT of memory just a few years ago, today, 4GB is even below a minimum when it comes to PC. However, things are different when it comes to smartphones. 4GB is a lot of RAM, and this amount of RAM we can find only in the best smartphones on the market. By the way, let me share with you my list of 10 best smartphones with 4GB RAM. If you are eager to find out, the list is below.

1. Samsung Galaxy S8

You’ve probably guessed that this beautiful beast will be in the first spot. Galaxy S8 is a powerful, sleek and beautiful phone, boasting a 5.8″ AMOLED display, which is the best on the market. On top of that, 1440p resolution, and Snapdragon 835 CPU will bring you the most pleasant experience you’ve ever had on a smartphone. The camera is great, and the battery life is more than enough. However, Galaxy S8 is a pricey phone, but you get all you want for the price, plus a fingerprint sensor that works flawlessly.

2. Samsung Galaxy S7

Being an older brother of Galaxy S8, Galaxy S7 boasts similar features to S8, but of course, it’s just slightly weaker. While the resolution is same, the screen comes in at 5.1” which is great for my small hands. Snapdragon 820 CPU is still a great high-end choice, and non-removable Li-Ion 3000mAh battery will be solid, although not that great. If you worry about software, S7 got you covered with Android 7.0 Nougat, and with plenty of expandable space; 32GB, expandable up to 200 GB.

3. HTC 10

If you like Samsung Galaxy S7, you’ll like HTC 10, because it’s almost the same device when it comes to specs, and performance. With Snapdragon 820 CPU, 4GB of RAM and a fantastic 1440p 5.2″ display, HTC 10 will fulfill all your needs, from multitasking to gaming. The storage here is 32GB, which is still respectable, and a lot of space, plus there is a 3000mAh battery, which should hold up pretty well. Design-wise, HTC is a pretty phone, but is a little thicker, at around 9mm.

4. Huawei Honor 9

Huawei Honor 9 was released this summer, and it brings a very good Android experience. Although it isn’t that big with its 5.2” screen, Honor 9 manages to make it very sharp and clear, with 1080p resolution. It’s also packed with a great dual camera (20 + 12 MP) that allows for high-res pictures and support for recording 4K videos in 30fps. With Cortex A73 CPU and Mali- G71 MP8 GPU, Honor 9 isn’t the most powerful phone ever, but it works amazing, both in casual usage and gaming/multitasking.

5. Huawei P10

Huawei P series is one of my favorite smartphone series, and when P10 was released this winter, I was very happy. The phone is beautiful, and comes with a great IPS 5.1” display, boasting a 1080p resolution. IPS is still a good technology, although I prefer AMOLED. Nevertheless, Huawei P10 has Cortex A53 CPU, which is in the lowest department of high-end class, but its 4GB of RAM and 32/64GB of space will make up for some small flaws. With its dual camera, you’ll be able to record 4K videos at 30fps, so props to that!

6. Oppo F1 Plus

Looking for a great mid-range smartphone? Well, Oppo F1 Plus might be your best bet, plus it has 4GB of RAM, which is very good for the price range. Other than that, Oppo F1 Plus has an AMOLED 5.5” display that packs 1080p resolution, as well as mid-range Cortex A53 CPU, enough for the most part, when it comes to multitasking and gaming. The star of the show here is design. The phone looks amazing, and it’s only 6.6mm thick which make it very comfortable and sleek… I know, simply amazing!

7. LG V10

LG V10 is now two years old, but this old guy packs a punch that will strike you directly in your face. With a hexa-core Snapdragon 808 and Adreno 418 graphics, LG V10 will chew and swallow all of your demanding apps and games, so you’ll enjoy a high-speed, and polished Android experience. The 16MP camera here is capable of recording 4K videos in 30fps, as well as 720p video in 120 fps, and that, my friends, look amazing, especially on 1440p, 5.7” display that is located here.

8. Xiaomi Mi Note Pro

Xiaomi Mi Note Pro comes with a winning duo that consists of 4GB of RAM and 64GB of ROM. It’s a lot of memory to work with, plus Snapdragon 810 CPU which is a really great component, and you’ll get a fantastic smartphone for the price. Although it’s released at the beginning of 2015, Mi Note Pro packs quite a punch and offers a 1440p 5.7″ display at a fairly cheap price. There is even a 4K support when it comes to video recording, which is not strange, having in mind that Xiaomi always delivers the phones with the best price to performance ratio.

9. Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro

If you like big phones, Galaxy A9 Pro is great for you. It comes with 6” AMOLED display, with 1920x1080p resolution, and it’s one of the prettiest displays for the price. Hardware-wise, you’ll be happy to see Snapdragon 652 CPU, paired with 510 GPU, and although these components are mid-range, they work pretty well combined with 4GB of RAM. Galaxy A9 Pro can’t record 4K videos, but those Full HD videos still look pretty good.

10. Motorola Moto G5 Plus

Motorola bounced back from the oblivion they’ve fallen into these years, by releasing some great smartphones for a mid-range budget. Moto G5 Plus is yet another mid-range smartphone, with a beautiful design, and a great hardware consisting of Snapdragon 625 processor, and Adreno 506 graphics, which is pretty good for the budget. Aside from that, the screen is solid, and it’s 1080p IPS screen sporting a size of 5.2 inches. Moto G5 Plus also has Android 7.0 Nougat installed, and there is even planned upgrade to a brand new Android 8.0 Oreo, which is another reason to get it.
