Organizing habit is very important in our everyday lives. It’s what helps us get stuff done. On that note, it’s important to realize that we can’t always perform everything that we thought we’d do in the timeframe we planned. I have tested several To-do list apps and have some strong feelings over a few apps. These apps are helped me to learn and organize things in a much easier way.

A good To-do list app must possess qualities like easy organizing things, decent user-interface in almost every way possible.

What needs to be done is to organize the tasks, so that we can get as plenty done as possible. Android as an OS has impacted our lives in many ways. There are many to-do list apps in the market that you can use to help everyday planning and organization easier. Here are some of the best to-do list apps for Android.

1. Todoist: To-Do List, Tasks & Reminders

Todoist is the most popular app among the best To-do apps for both the Android and iOS platforms. The app is appreciated in the Google Play store and named as 2019 Editor’s Choice award.

The app comes in both free and paid versions and the free version is pretty good enough to organize your daily tasks. The usability of the Todoist improved year by year and now the present version is the most advanced version till the date with many advanced features.

The design of the Todoist sports a decent look where all the necessary options placed. On the home screen, you will see a list of options such as Projects, Labels, and Filters. The Projects option is useful to create a step-by-step plan separate from the regular tasks. There is a big + icon placed at the bottom right corner of the window which helps to add a new reminder.

Users can share the Project with other teammates to collaborate with the workflow. The Label feature is useful to add custom labels like @client @work in order to search a particular task easily. Currently, this feature is available in the Premium version of the app. Filters are useful to check the tasks based on priority wise and to find unscheduled tasks using no date.

We find the Todoist app extremely useful for daily routine. It is useful for business people, normal people and students to set their important to-do items in one place.

Here’s a simple yet functional app that you can use. This app offers cloud syncing that allows you to access your tasks on any other device, be it at home or on the go. Any.do allows you to add tasks, sub-tasks and even notes that’ll help remind you and make the organization of work easier for you. Definitely, one of the top organization apps to consider.

Any.do home screen sports a very minimalistic look with task adding options. The three main entries called, Tomorrow, Upcoming, and Someday options lets you add the tasks. There are plenty of entries that are pre-added in the app.

For example, when you click on Tomorrow, it lets you add the latest entries named “I want to” with related tags like call, check, get, email, buy, meet, clean, take, send, pay, make, pick, finish, do, print, read, study, and work. Also, you can share the added tasks to your contacts or team members to communicate about tasks effortlessly.

I think we don’t need any introduction to Wunderlist. It is a very popular name among the to-do apps list and ranked top in both the Google Play and Apple App stores. It is extremely easy to use and it has all the features to make this app is all-time favorite apps to everyone.

The app lets you create the lists as per your requirement from your phone, tablet or computer. The collaborative features are the main asset of the program which lets you share lists among the family, friends, and colleagues.

If you’re the kind of person that loves keeping it simple, then Google Keep might be right for you. Many praise the app for its ease of use and flexibility as well. You can utilize features such as color-coded notes, time/location-based reminders, and cloud storage as well.

I have spent a few minutes on Google Keep. The app is super easy to add new notes and reminders. It simply serves the specific needs of everyone by organizing our primary tasks.

The app is great for daily tasks, but not a great option for if you’re one to handle bigger projects. It lacks some features such as sub-tasks and many other advanced features. However, it still manages to keep your to-do lists remind you on time. Another advantage of Google Keep is its integration with Google Drive. The Google ecosystem lets you integrate the apps and you can sync the data on multiple devices.

5. TickTick

TickTick is my favorite for saving a to-do list on my iPhone. The app is available for both Android and iOS platforms for free and paid versions.

We can call TickTick as a task management application rather than a to-do reminder. However, it has some strong reminder features which make this app has entered into the to-do list category.
TickTick is a very flexible and worth trying to-do list app.

It has an excellent user-interface to add the tasks. It lets you create tasks and sort them into lists and also you can put priorities and deadlines to them. Tags are the powerful feature that lets you add color codes which help us to identify the tasks effortlessly.

The service runs on Amazon Web Services and the data located in the US. It has the best encryption policies and it promised to notify the users when the data breach.

6. Remember The Milk

Remember The Milk one of the oldest to-do list and reminder app available for free of cost. The app has plenty of features to note down the reminders and it will help you remove the list from your mind.

The app has different objects for managing to-dos and reminders by projects. The sharing is a pretty easy process to share the lists with others. Also, it has one feature which lets you assign one particular task to a different user.

The new update for Remember The Milk supports Gmail, which lets you use the program without leaving the Gmail inbox. Also, you can use the RTM to add notes to your Gmail conversations. Another interesting thing is Google Assistance support. The latest update lets you tell your Assistant to remind you of the upcoming RTM reminders and to-dos.

This has to be one of the newer entries on this list. This app from Microsoft has hit the to-do list scene quite recently compared to the other applications on this list. One Note packs a punch as it offers a number of features that you’re bound to enjoy.

Along with to-do and reminder features, it is great for taking digital notes, lists, photos, and clippings. The beautiful user-interface is the main attraction of the One Note app.

Some of these features are color-coded notes, to-do lists, cross-platform support, and many other things. It’s a great app for those that are like a to-do list app.

I don’t think that this list would be complete without mention of this app. Trello is one of the big names when to-do list platforms are concerned. It helps users organize, be it for a small task such as groceries to a big task such as a multi-person project.

Basically the app is designed for workflow management among the team members. But the reminders and to-do list features inside the app is usable for individual users. The free version of the Trello is sufficient for managing to-do lists tasks.

This awesome to-do list app uses “boards,” which is a unique, card-based interface where users get to create their tasks. Trello also offers Android Wear support, Support for Google Drive and DropBox among many other features.

Last but not least, Accomplish is yet another promising to-do list app designed for everyone. It is primarily focused on achieving and completing to-do list goals. The day-view is designed aesthetically where you can add, view and edit the tasks and to-dos in an easy manner.

Also, the app’s aim is to make a habit of planning every day. It syncs with Google Calendar which adds all the important dates and events added in the Google Calendar to the Accomplish app.

For user’s convenience, the app sports various colors and themes in order to use them for different tasks. The app is fast and it has gestures enabled to make the usage pretty simple.
