8. Update sound card drivers
Drivers are important software to communicate your hardware better internally with the OS. When the drivers are up to date you will feel a smooth performance when compared to the system running with outdated drivers. - Right-click on This PC icon on the desktop and click on Device Manager or directly launch it by searching in the Windows start menu.
- Expand Sound, Video, and game controllers and right-click on your driver and select Update Driver.
9. Alternative method
Zoom has an interesting option which lets you use your smartphone mic instead of the computer. This is a pretty interesting and useful feature if you don’t have a microphone enabled on your computer.
To use this feature, download Zoom app on your Android or iOS and login with the same account you are using on your computer. Now, on the desktop version of Zoom, click on the arrow present next to Mute. Select Switch to Phone audio. You will be given a meeting ID and password. Use it to join the meeting on your phone.
