How to easily collect payments on Google Forms?

If you’re thinking about gathering payments using Google Forms, you’ll need to put in some extra work. When you wish to include a payment field in your Google Form, you’ll come across three distinct methods. To receive payments through Google Forms, you must follow these specified methods since the platform currently doesn’t have its own payment collection feature.

1. Payable Forms

The Payable Forms Add-On employs automatic payment calculations based on the responses provided in your Google Form. They host a secure checkout experience that aligns with your form’s theme, ensuring a seamless payment process for your users. Furthermore, they take care of updating your linked Google Sheet with payment statuses, providing you with clear information on who has made payments.

This feature is useful for various purposes, including event registrations, fundraising efforts, t-shirt sales, invoicing, or any form submission that requires payment.

Also, you have the flexibility to link with multiple payment processors, such as PayPal, Square, and Stripe.

Steps to use Payable forms.

  1. To begin, open your form and locate the three dots in the upper-right corner.
  2. Type “Payable” into the search bar and press “Enter.”
  3. After selecting the add-on, click “Install” to initiate the setup.
  4. In the next step, add the payment options for the customers.
  5. Now start using the add-on to integrate a payment provider like PayPal, Stripe, or Square into your Google form.

2. Google Pay or PhonePe Integration in Google Forms

Peer-to-peer payment platforms like PayPal, Venmo, PhonePe, and Google Pay offer seamless payment solutions.

These platforms enhance payment processes and improve overall organization.

Whether you’re making payments to a business or settling for a service, these peer-to-peer payment processors simplify the transaction.

To integrate peer-to-peer payment options, you can incorporate QR codes into your Google Forms. Here’s how:

  1. Generate a QR code for your preferred payment platform.
  2. Access the Questions page in Google Forms and click on the “Add an Image” icon.
  3. Upload the QR code image.
  4. Visitors can now scan the QR code to make instant payments.
  5. After payment, provide a column for entering the transaction code to confirm the payment.
  6. Optionally, add another column for users to upload a transaction screenshot for further verification.

This process enables you to effectively collect payments using Google Forms.

Conclusion

By using these two options, you can add payment gateway settings on Google Forms. There is no official method of adding payment integration and confirmation is not yet designed by Google. However, these methods will help you to get things done in an emergency situation.
