It is known that the impact of COVID-19 is not just limited to particular sections of society because everyone is affected by this virus outbreak. This is because of the fear of Coronavirus and its preventive measures are such that only lockdown is possible since there is no vaccine available yet for this virus.

This means that stores and businesses all over the world where there is a lockdown need to be closed. That includes the technology stores as well and we have a new report from Apple regarding the same.

In a new report by Bloomberg, it is revealed that Tim Cook who is the CEO of Apple is also varying from the fact that they will also struggle because of this outbreak. He is also aware of the fact that there might be job cuts they will have to do in order to keep the company afloat during these times.

This is because Apple has stopped all sales at its offline stores and its online stores are also delaying orders due to the overwhelming orders of essential items.

It is also reported that there was a virtual meeting at Apple to discuss the plans of weathering the coronavirus pandemic and Cook did say that it was inevitable for Apple to be impacted like every other company.

In his address to the Apple employees, Cook said that “If we stay focused on doing what we do best, if we keep investing if we manage the business wisely and make decisions collaboratively if we take care of our teams if our teams take care of their work, I don’t see any reason to be anything but optimistic,”.

Tim also mentioned that the company is in good financial position going into the coronavirus crisis and investments in research and development will continue.
