Within a few days, we are going to meet the new family of Apple devices that are rumored to be three new Apple iPhone, all with Face ID, this being the first time in history that no new iPhone includes Touch ID.  Well, but before all these rumors and expectations of what we see, there are some questions whether Apple will bet on latest trend of having on-screen fingerprint scanner or not. Its seems to be indicate that no, Apple will not use this technology in a long time.

A new report by Ming-Chi Kuo, a well-known analyst at TF Securities, has mentioned that at the moment the company does not intend to incorporate this technology, mainly because there is no a fingerprint reader under the screen mature enough to bet on them.

Recall that these same words were said by Dj Koh, Head of Mobile Division of Samsung, which mentioned that if they had not opted for such FOD scanners. This is because the technology did not meet the standards of quality that the firm was looking for. That is why the Galaxy S10 will be the first of the firm to incorporate an ultrasonic technology that in the words of the manager, “will not only be precise, but also quite fast”.

On the other hand, Apple has no plans to replace the Face ID, as it is currently the most advanced face reader to date, however, the Xiaomi Mi 8 also offers a technology similar to that of Apple with infrared face scanning. So it is also possible that soon other Android manufacturers might offer such advanced system.

Many Apple iPhone customers do not complain about the Face ID but have removed the Touch ID, and Apple can find the solution to this problem with a FOS. However, Ming-Chi Kuo has mentioned that it is highly likely the first iPhone with this technology will arrive until 2020. So it is probable that not even the next generation of this phone has a fingerprint scanner on screen.

More often, we have to see what happens, but the fact is that next year this technology will be one of the major trends in Android smartphones.
