Apple released its latest iPhone 11 series phones in the market and it is fair to say that they have been a huge hit. Now, Google also released their Pixel 4 series phones but they have been a letdown due to poor battery life, second-best camera, and higher price tag.

Talking about the iPhones, Apple has made a spectacular comeback from last year with great battery life, best cameras and an entry-level iPhone 11 as well.

However, we also know that both Apple and Google have their own services which they can rely on if their phones don’t sell well.

This is more the case with Google where the majority of their revenue comes from ads served on different platforms.

One of those platforms is YouTube which is currently the most-visited platform for content consumption.

However, we know that YouTube’s best experience was available so far only on Android devices.

Because even the best of iPhones did not have HDR or high dynamic range content support. This meant that you could not take advantage of the OLED display present on iPhone 11 Pro devices.

But you will happy to know that the iPhone 11 series has now received its HDR support. This means you can now playback HDR content on your iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro devices with ease on YouTube.

For this, you only need to have an OLED panel that is not present on the iPhone 11 or iPhone Xr. Also, you need to look for HDR content on YouTube as well because not every video on YouTube will be an HDR one.

If you have a video that is in 4K HDR, you can go to the settings on YouTube and select playback in HDR on your iPhones.

Note that iPads will not support HDR playback as they are limited to OLED displays only.
