Asus has finally made the announcement which will make the Indian gaming community happy. This is because Asus has launched its first gaming phone powered by Android in India. This smartphone is named as the Asus ROG Phone. The smartphone comes under Asus ROG, a department from Asus for gamers. If you are unaware about Asus ROG, it stands for Republic of Gamers(ROG). There are already PCs, Cabinets, Mice and Keyboards built for gamers by Asus ROG.

Now, this Asus ROG Phone will boost the smartphone gaming market in India too. As far as the Asus ROG Phone is concerned, it was first launched at Computex 2018 by Asus way back in June. However, the smartphone took a long time to come to the market. Nevertheless, the ROG Phone is finally here and it is power-packed with features as well. First of all, the Asus ROG Phone has a 6-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ (2160 x 1080 pixels) resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio.

However, the Razer Phone 2 is not available in India as of now. The Asus ROG Phone comes with a maximum of 10GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 512GB UFS 2.1 Flash Storage. The device has a 12MP + 8MP  dual camera setup on the rear with a 120-degree wide-angle view and an 8MP single selfie camera on the front.

The device has a 4000 mAh non-removable battery and runs Android 8.1 Oreo-based on ROG Gaming UI. This ROG Phone also supports 20W ASUS HyperCharge technology. Along with that, the phone has two USB Type-C ports, one for charging and the other for connecting accessories at the same time. ROG Phone from Asus also has 2 AirTriggers, RGB Lighting and Aura Sync, all of which are customizable. The device is launched in India at Rs. 69,999 for base variant and is a Flipkart-exclusive.
