We see that there is a new scam happening every day nowadays. This is also because people have been somewhat careless regarding their valuables on the internet. There is currently a lack of understanding as to how one can protect from getting scammed on the internet. Now, we know that cryptocurrency is the hottest property at this point. One of the trending cryptocurrency is Bitcoin and it is on the upward curve too.

Therefore, it is likely that scammers will try to con people during this time. Now, we are getting reports of a new type of scam related to Bitcoin. We usually see people getting scammed but they are unaware of it. People come to know that their money is gone after several days if they are careless. However, this time the scammers have informed the people that they are scammed themselves.

Now, this is regarding a website named Coinexx.org which is still live at the time of writing the article. This website says that they manage cryptocurrency for their clients. A couple from Australia had put $30,000 of Bitcoins on the Coinexx.org wallet. However, they just received a WhatsApp message which gave them a nightmare. Here is the message:

Everything and everyone involved are the same. Don’t bother about trying to get your money,” the message continued. “Adam, myself Claudia even the customer service is scam

But it is also interesting that Mr Yeomans from Australia decided to invest his money even when he expected Coinexx.org  “to be a scam”. Also, you should notice that this scam is far worse than expected and it is a longer game that the scammers played.

First of all, Mr Yeomans invested $984 on the website and got $2600 in return. This made him quit the day job and he then invested $30,000 on the site which is the amount this couple got scammed for.
