One of the main reasons that people love Apple Macbooks and their other Mac devices is because they are excellent in terms of hardware. On the other hand, Apple’s macOS is great but it is not top-notch and we know that even some Mac users like Windows. However, the fact that their hardware is so good makes up for some blemishes in the software. Talking about the hardware, things such as the best-in-class Apple trackpads on their laptops is the key here. Apart from that, Apple makes a separate trackpad for other Mac devices with the same quality so desktop users can take the advantage too.

Something similar has never been available in the Windows segment but thanks to Brydge, we have our long-standing wish fulfilled of having a trackpad on Windows for desktop as well. This is because the company has developed their first “Designed for Surface” keyboard and trackpads and they are not only made for Surface devices but for Windows devices. But the “Designed for Surface” tag shows that they have passed the quality test from Microsoft.

Named the W-Touch for the trackpad and the W-Type for the keyboard, it is claimed that the W-Touch is a Magic Trackpad 2 but for Windows 10 whereas the keyboard is also designed to compete with the Magic Keyboard 2 at least in terms of looks. The best part is that both these accessories are in Matte Black where Apple’s Magic accessories are Grey at best. Talking about the trackpad, it has a “large glass surface to comfortably move around in, measuring at 5.5 inches across and 3.3 inches deep”. Also, it is said that you only need to charge the keyboard and trackpad once in a month and charging is possible with USB Type-C cable as well. We know that $99 for a trackpad is expensive but it has a monopoly right now.
