Honor 9N Announced in India with a Notched 19:9 Display and Dual Rear Cameras

Huawei’s sub-brand Honor has just launched a new smartphone for the Indian users. This smartphone is named as the Honor 9N which was launched earlier today by the company. As far as the smartphone is concerned, it has a notch and comes with a dual rear camera setup. Also, the smartphone has a display aspect ratio of 19:9.

Apart from that, Honor 9N will be sold as a Flipkart-exclusive same as most other Honor smartphones launched this year. Along with this, the smartphone comes with an all-glass premium design as well. It has a 16MP front camera also for better and clearer selfies.

Talking more about the Honor 9N, it comes with a HiSilicon Kirin 659 SoC which is an octa-core processor. Apart from that, the smartphone runs the latest version of EMUI which is EMUI 8.0 based on Android Oreo. Along with that, it has a 5.84-inch notched display at a resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels.

Apart from that, the Honor 9N comes with up to 4GB of RAM. In the internal storage department, the Honor 9N comes in 32, 64 and 128GB variant options. Also, there is a microSD card slot available for expansion which supports up to 256GB.

As far as the other smartphones from Honor are concerned, we know that the company launched Honor 10 just recently. Also, Honor 9N competes with the likes of Redmi Note 5 as well as Honor 9 Lite and Honor 7X. However, the presence of a bigger and better display on Honor 9N is a bonus. As far as the smartphone’s cameras are concerned, they have a 13MP + 2MP camera on the back with a 16MP snapper on the front. Apart from that, Honor announced that the Honor 9N will be exclusively ‘Made in India’.

As for the prices, the Honor 9N starts at Rs. 11,999 for 3GB/32GB variant whereas the 4GB/64GB variant is available for Rs. 13,999. The top-of-the-line 4GB/128GB variant of Honor 9N is available for Rs. 17,999
