Artificial Intelligence is the next stage of technology we are entering. We already have seen many products using Artificial Intelligence to make our lives practically easy. For example, Amazon Fire TV Stick and Amazon Fire TV are allowing us to talk to them using Mic enabled remote controls. Also, Hisense TV manufacturer revealed Alexa capable TV panels at CES 2018. These TV’s allow us to perform a wide variety of tasks using Amazon echo.
Now the latest addon to the iOS 12 is AI technology. WWDC 2018 is full of software related keynote with a series of software functionalities added to the upcoming iOS 12. With this update, we can experience a fully functional AI-powered iPhone/iPad in our hand.
The iOS 12 has many AI-powered functionalities. It will help you continue your workflow with a series of suggestions on screen. However, the AI is in the starting stage in the current period. Now the main question raises while using the AI-powered iPhone. Will users find the suggestions useful or the insights useless? let’s see.
AI Powered Suggestions by Siri
After installing iOS 12 on your iPhone/iPad, Siri starts showing suggestions based on your routine and habits. There is a dedicated screen for these suggestions and you will find the same place on the iPhone Search screen. Here you will see Siri suggested apps to begin with. Once you start using those apps you will be intimated by Siri suggestions from the next.
For Example, if you daily call a person at a particular time and you forgot to call them one day, the Siri will start showing the suggestion to call that person. Another great example is, when you are in Gym, Siri suggests you to start playing your regular playlist. This is quite annoying sometimes and quite useful in some case. This all takes time to learn what you like and what not. And the list continues, these suggestions will appear on the screen according to the situations. Siri Suggestions will also appear on the Lock Screen, Apple purely wants to suggest you better with Siri suggestions.
AI is in the early stages now, we can expect more AI-powered devices in the near future.
