We have seen that the current trend in the smartphone industry is to release something other than smartphones. While most of the companies are releasing new phones, we have seen that the likes of OnePlus, Xiaomi and now Motorola are looking to release their own TVs.
Yes, you might have already heard about the OnePlus TV which is launching soon in the Indian markets. Now, Motorola is all set to launch a new TV in the Indian markets as well.
These reports have come from PhoneRadar who have found out about the existence of Motorola TV. Apart from that, the first image of Motorola’s Smart TV is also found out by the publication. While the Motorola TV is not expected to have features such as the Dolby Atmos or the QLED panel, we believe that it will offer some level of customization and unique offering.
Apart from that, we can also say that one of the products that complete the ecosystem of smart devices is a Smart TV. Therefore, it is also obvious that smartphone manufacturers have turned towards releasing Smart TVs of their own. Another interesting part about the Motorola Smart TV is that it is already set to be announced very soon.
From what we have heard, Motorola’s Smart TV might be coming to the market on September 16. Also, Flipkart will be the official licensee of Motorola’s Smart TV.
Some details regarding the Motorola Smart TV reveal that it will have Android operating system, DTS TruSurround, and built-in soundbar. Now, the interesting aspect of Motorola’s Smart TV is that it will not compete with OnePlus TV which is expected to be a premium offering.
However, it might definitely compete with the Mi TV lineup which is doing extremely well in the Indian markets. As far as sales are concerned, Motorola’s Smart TV may go on sale during Flipkart’s Big Billion Days sale which is from September 29 to October 4 this year.
