OPPO, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer, is one of leading companies in China and is among the Top 5 companies in India as well now. Also, we have known that the company has released several mid-range as well as the budget smartphone in India this year.
The flagship smartphone from Oppo in India this year is the Oppo F7 announced a few months ago. However, the company released the Oppo Find X a few days ago which is the outright flagship from Oppo this year. Now, the company has launched a new product in China this year which is not a smartphone for a change.
The product we are talking about is Wireless Earphones that have just been launched by Oppo for Chinese markets. These wireless earphones are named the Oppo O-Free and the company has currently launched them as Apple AirPods competitors in China. As far as the Oppo O-Free wireless earphones are concerned, they are equipped with TrueWireless Stereo technology. This technology means that the sound is synchronized with that emitted by the smartphone which means you will not notice even the slightest difference in wired and wireless earphones.
Talking about other features of the Oppo O-Free, it is obviously capable of answering phone calls which is the basic feature expected from wireless earphones. But, O-Free also supports voice translation, wake-up voice assistance, music control (adjusting the volume/playback pause/changing music), and many more other such features are included as well.
Talking about the Oppo O-Free in Chinese markets, the company launched them at a price of 699 Yuan. The O-Free earphones can be used uninterrupted for 4 hours, and the charging box can last for 12 hours as claimed by Oppo. Coming back to the pricing, the O-Free headsets are expected to be priced around the $106 mark which equates to Rs. 7000 if Oppo decides to bring these earphones to other markets.
