Oppo K1

Oppo is all set to launch a new device for the Indian consumers. This is because Flipkart teased the launch of a new smartphone by the company. However, there are no specific details regarding the smartphone or its name. Therefore, we are left guessing as to which phone is going to launch from Oppo.

We have now found out about the upcoming smartphone from Oppo. These details are available to us thanks to 91Mobiles. 91Mobiles understands that Oppo will launch a mid-range smartphone in India next month. Also, this smartphone is most likely to be a Flipkart-exclusive as it is teased by Flipkart. Apart from that, the smartphone is most likely to be named as the Oppo K1. This means that we will see the first smartphone from Oppo in its new K series.

However, the interesting part about Oppo K1 is that it will have an in-display fingerprint scanner. Now, it has to be noted that Oppo K1 will become the most affordable smartphone with an in-display fingerprint scanner. Apart from that, 91Mobiles’ sources have told that the device will be launched in the first week of February. It should be noted that Oppo K1 has already launched in China. Therefore, we know what to expect from the latest device from Oppo. As for the pricing, Oppo K1 will be priced under the Rs. 20,000 mark.

The Chinese variant of Oppo K1 comes with 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,340 pixels. On the inside, Oppo K1 comes powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 AI processor. As for the software, Oppo K1 in China runs on ColorOS 5.2 based on Android 8.1 Oreo. We expect the Indian variant of this device to be mostly the same. The device comes with a waterdrop notch and has a dual camera setup on the back.
