Samsung is well-known for their flagship smartphones all over the world. However, Samsung is very popular in India for their budget smartphones too. But in recent times, Xiaomi has claimed Samsung’s crown of the No.1 selling smartphone company in India. Therefore, Samsung was rumoured to release an all-new Galaxy M series in India. This is seen as Samsung’s answer to companies like Xiaomi, Realme, Honor and other midrange players.

Galaxy M10

Now, the time has come and Samsung has officially announced the Galaxy M series in India. In the Galaxy M series, Samsung has launched two new smartphones. These smartphones are the Galaxy M10 and the Galaxy M20 for the Indian smartphone buyers. As far as Galaxy M10 is concerned, it is the entry-level smartphone in this Galaxy M series. Galaxy M20, on the other hand, is a mid-range smartphone from the company. We also expect Samsung to release Galaxy M30 later this year which will be the premium mid-range smartphone in this series.

The first thing you will notice is that the Galaxy M devices come with a notch. If you recall, Samsung has mentioned time and again that they will not use a notch on their device. But that seems to not apply for the Galaxy M series, maybe. The Galaxy M10 has a 720p display which is a 6.2-inch panel. The smartphone is powered by Exynos 7870 chipset and has up to 3GB of RAM. We get two cameras on the back and one on the front of Galaxy M10. The primary rear cameras are 13MP+5MP and the front camera is 5MP as well.

As for the Galaxy M20, we get a 6.3-inch 1080p display and the smartphone is powered by Exynos 7904 from Samsung. This device comes with 3GB and 4GB RAM options. It also comes with a 13MP+5MP rear camera but it has an 8MP camera on the front. Samsung’s Galaxy M10 starts at Rs 7,990 whereas the Galaxy M20 is priced starting at Rs. 10,990.
