We are coming to the end of 2019 which means that almost all of the flagship smartphones have been released for this year. But it also means that Samsung will launch its next flagship Galaxy S series smartphone in a few months’ time. Traditionally, Samsung releases the Galaxy S flagship in month of February before or after the MWC. We expect Samsung to repeat the same sequence this year with rumours suggesting that Samsung Galaxy S11 could be launched before the MWC 2020.
Since that is the case, we know that the design of the Galaxy S11 will also be finalized. And that is the case since we have our first look at the Galaxy S11 renders by OnLeaks who has a great record of making accurate renders based on leaks. His iPhone 11 and Pixel 4, as well as OnePlus renders, have been to the point that they almost look like official renders. Therefore, we can say that this might be our first ‘unofficial-official’ look at the Galaxy S11 series.
As for the Galaxy S11 series, Samsung might be going all out as they are going to include five camera sensors at the back of this device. Not only that, one of these sensors is believed to be the 108MP camera which is developed by Samsung’s ISOCELL department. On the front, the punch-hole camera will be retained but it will now be in the centre as seen on the Galaxy Note 10. Also, the dual camera punch hole at the front might be gone and we will see a single selfie camera only. On the back, the rear camera module is a rectangle which is double the size of that seen on iPhone X and iPhone Xs series. In fact, it looks identical to the module seen on Galaxy M30s which is an affordable smartphone released by Samsung in India.
