Samsung is ready once again with its Galaxy Fold smartphone and it looks like the company is confident this time around. Because Samsung has announced that its Galaxy Fold will go on sale in Korea starting tomorrow, i.e September 6. Not only that, Samsung says that the Galaxy Fold will go on sale in other countries too including France, Germany, Singapore, U.K., U.S. very soon. Now, it was the US market that pegged Samsung back when it sent out review units of the Galaxy Fold to reviewers and journalists.

However, Samsung also admitted that there was a design flaw in the Galaxy Fold. The company says that the flaw has now been fixed and the design of Galaxy Fold will remain the same as it was when announced first at the MWC 2019. Samsung says that you can get the Galaxy Fold in Space Silver and Cosmos Black colour variants. The company also reveals that there will be a 5G-ready Galaxy Fold in select countries as well.

One of the biggest problems with the Galaxy Fold when it first launched was the film between its display. Most of the reviewers removed this film thinking that it was a screen protector meant to be removed. Also, they say there was no instruction anywhere that the film is not to be removed. Later, Samsung accepted its mistake and said that the film is not meant to be removed. The company now says that the film is applied on bezels of the Galaxy Fold as well to make it obvious that it is not meant to be removed.

The company says that “During the past several months, Samsung has been refining the Galaxy Fold to ensure it delivers the best possible experience. Not only we improved the Galaxy Fold’s design and construction, but also took the time to rethink the entire consumer journey.”
