Looks like Thugs of Hindustan makers have partnered with Google Maps in India. To promote the film in a very unique way on the platform. On the occasion of this new feature launch, Google Maps product manager Neha Waikar said “As people gear up for Diwali and to watch Thugs Of Hindostan, we wanted to do our bit by making their driving journeys more fun and playful. We wish the movie all the success,” Manan Mehta, Vice President – Marketing and Merchandising, YRF, added that “So we had to think of creating a first time, unparalleled and unrepeatable marketing idea to promote this film. And in Google Maps we found a perfect partner to do so,”

Interestingly, Aamir’s character will be seen riding on a pet Donkey which is same as seen in the film. The character of Aamir Khan in the film is known as Firangi. Thugs of Hindostan is said to be the Indian version of Pirates of the Carribean. Inside the application, you will find two names which may be unfamiliar to you if you are not great at Hindi. First one is Chalo which means let’s go and it will start the navigation. The other one being Na Rey which means not interested and exit in terms of Google Maps.
