We have seen that the Coronavirus pandemic has taken the world by storm and it is a fact that everyone is scared due to the outbreak which is why the lockdown and preventive measures were taken.

Also, there have been partial curfews all over the world because the virus is said to be going nowhere. Talking about the virus, the best way to protect yourself from it is to wear masks at the very least which are a first step in protecting yourself from the exposure.

Talking about masks, we are now seeing all kinds of them in the market where someone is wearing colourful ones while the others are wearing surgical masks as well as N95 masks. But a startup named HMCARE has announced they are developing a transparent mask for the masses which will not only protect them but become a fashion statement as well.

This also solves the problem that many have of covering half their face which people don’t like and give this excuse of not wearing masks and endangering everyone.

As far as HMCARE and their transparent mask project is concerned, it has received a big boost thanks to the seed round of funding that they have “inhaled”. It is known that seed round funding of $1 million has been raised for this project from the investors and this means that the masks will now go into mass production.

The founders of HMCARE say that there were “technically transparent masks available, but they were just regular masks with a plastic window in them, which can fog up and isn’t breathable”. So their solution is a transparent mask which is comfortable to wear and gives protection as well.

These masks are being called as HelloMasks and will be available 2021 but for the medical professionals at first. Later, we will definitely see public availability being discussed.
