One of the best things about the Indian market is that you get everything in mass because of the number of Internet users in the country. Now, we have seen companies taking advantage of this and the latest one is UC Media which is a part of Alibaba Innovation Business Group.

The company has just released a new app in the market which is named as UC Browser Turbo. As per the description from the creators itself, UC Browser Turbo is a minimalist take on the UCWeb and version 1.6 of this browser has been released.

Now, the company says that it has crossed 5 million downloads globally including markets such as India and Indonesia. As per UCWeb Global Business’s Vice President, Huaiyuan Yang: “UC Browser’s fast downloading and traffic-saving features have earned us a strong reputation.

UC Browser Turbo is a more convenient search tool with a clean interface and ad-block feature for those who want a simple platform to navigate. It is designed to provide users with a faster search experience. We are delighted at the positive response to the app.”

However, the company is setting its eyes on something much bigger than just download numbers. As per the official statement, UCWeb is eyeing on the monthly active user data and it says that the company is expecting 10 million monthly active users by the end of FY20.

This means that the company expects the majority of its users who download the app to use it at least once per month as well.

As far as UC Browser Turbo is concerned, the 32-bit version of this app weighs 36MB whereas the 64-bit version of this app has a size of 42MB. There is also a new ‘Share’ option inside the browser which lets you share webpages to your friends similar to Google Chrome and other browsers.
