WhatsApp has finally introduced its much-awaited and highly requested Stickers feature. It is basically an addition to the already existing Emoji and GIF sharing feature. Now, we know that several other applications already have Stickers feature.
So, WhatsApp has done nothing new in this field. However, WhatsApp is massively popular so it is a huge announcement. Talking about already-existing apps with Stickers, we can name a few popular ones such as Telegram, Hike or Viber.
Coming back to the WhatsApp Stickers, we get a nice set of Stickers with the WhatsApp app. But, you will have to wait for this feature to come to your device. This is because WhatsApp says that Android and iOS users will get the feature in coming weeks.
These Stickers are currently only available on WhatsApp beta for testing purposes. However, we are using the beta version of WhatsApp from launch and we have not faced any bugs yet. Though, it is not to say that you will not face any bugs in the future as well. We just want to say that if you want to try out the WhatsApp Stickers feature then you can install WhatsApp beta v2.18.329.
Nevertheless, there is one default sticker pack which is given by WhatsApp inside the application. Also, there is a Stickers store inside WhatsApp which has a total of 12 Sticker packs which can be downloaded by the user. Therefore, if you are bored from using similar stickers than you can always try out new ones.
Apart from that, you can download more stickers from the play store too. WhatsApp has also provided a guide on how to develop Stickers for WhatsApp. This means that if you are a designer or a developer or both then you can download Sticker pack for WhatsApp as well. All in all, Stickers on WhatsApp are a great way to express feelings or emotions which can’t be done sometimes via an Emoji.
