Rikomagic Quad Core MK802IV Review

Technology is turning big things into very tiny ones, Rikomagic is one of them and special. Rikomagic is a pocket sized mini computer runs on Android Jelly Bean. It turns your normal HDTV into power packed entertainment solution.

What is Rikomagic MK802 IV?

Rikomagic is a portable Mini PC runs on Android operating system, which offers all features of Android like gaming, applications, movies, social networking, browsing, music, radio and even more.

Design:

The design of Rikomagic resemblances a big pen drive or a USB modem and the body part is built with plastic. It have four ports for USB Host, OTG, SD Card slot and DC power slot. The slots are clearly visible and sufficient space is given between ports to connect wires side by side.

Usability:

Design claims that it will fit to any HDTV but i faced little problem when connecting backside of TV. It is slightly long and touches the wall, thanks to Rikomagic they given a HDMI extension cable.

When you power on the device it will boot within 15-20 seconds. After booting Android home screen appears, customize your device like the same way you are done with Android smartphone. The device is best at playing YouTube, Netflix and Vimeo videos at full HD resolutions. You can enjoy your weekend with your close buddies and family members by just plugin device into your HDTV. It can pair up with any wireless keyboard and mouse which supports 2.4Ghz.

I’ve connected my Microsoft wireless mouse without any hassle. The device synced perfectly with my mouse and keyboard. Some people may feel odd to operate Android with Keyboard and mouse, but later on you’ll definitely enjoy it.
