How it works?
To get started, download the program from the official Emsisoft website. You can evaluate program fully functional for one month. After one month trial, you need to purchase the program.
After installation program starts with a beautifully designed modern user interface. I am pleased that Emsisoft is capable of scanning programs before final installation.
On the main user interface, it includes four different tabs namely Protection, Scan, Quarantine, and Logs. Protection tab lets you customize surf protection, activate file guard and Behavior Blocking.
Surf Protection: Emsisoft’s Surf Protection simply blocks the unwanted URL by showing a pop-up notification and leaves the browser. You can manually add Hostname or IP address to alert, block and notify or Block silently.
File Guard: File Guard option lets you adjust scan level, malware detection notifications, and Email protection.
Behavior Blocking: Behavior Blocking uses the simple common scene to detect malware.
Whenever you open a program installed on your PC which requires active Internet connection Emsisoft popups a message shows allowing and blocking options.
Scan: Scan tab is used to perform a Quick scan over your system files, while Smart Scan can be used to scan important locations where malware typically resides on your computer and the Full scan is for thorough scanning. You can also schedule scanning tasks using the program, using built-in Scheduler you can set time period or daily, weekly and monthly basis.
Quarantine: Quarantine tab shows the quarantined, deleted, submitted for analysis or copied files in the Window.
Logs: Logs window shows the activity done by the program so far.

Performance
Performance wise program works like a charm, in a testing environment, I downloaded 8 malicious items. The program is installed in an SSD drive, the scanning speed is very fast and detected all malware object which I infected in the system.

Verdict
Emsisoft Anti-Malware is well built and designed program which performs reasonably well throughout our testing. I personally feel this program is very useful for every PC user to protect their machines and as well as their personal data from malware and PUPs.
