To get started, download the program from official Readiris website and install on your machine. If you are a new user, you can test the program for 15 with limitations. Once tested and purchased the software, registering the product is pretty easy. All you need to enter the serial key in the registration window.
Once installed, you can choose to convert any existing image to text or scan a new one. The user interface of the program is splits into two sections. Top of the program contains options toolbar loaded with a handful of options for the conversion job.
Since the application will use your default scanning software, run it through the whole process and save the scanned image. If your system is connected with a physical printer or virtual, you can start a conversion job from the “Scan” option. Clicking on this button shows installed printers on your machine. Using this option user can easily add a scanned file to the program. I personally very satisfied with Scan settings, it has a huge list of scanner models to select from.
