  1. Click the Start button, type “cmd”, and right click the icon to Run As Administrator.
  2. Copy the below-given command and paste it into cmd (command prompt)
    netsh advfirewall firewall add rule name="thetechhacker" dir=in action=block remoteip=173.194.55.0/24,206.111.0.0/16 enable=yes

Now open your browser and check the Youtube performance. I was successfully able to stream videos in 480p without any breaks. In this technique, the above command blocks a huge range of IP addresses belonging to Google and other networks. It may cause some issues with connecting some websites in future. You can easily undo this hack by simply entering this command in cmd (command prompt).

Clear Cache

Sometimes cache store on your computer can affect the loading speed of the YouTube. Clear the browser cache on your computer regularly to minimize the slowing effect of video streaming. There are many programs available to clear the unnecessary browsing cache from PC. For example, CCleaner is one of the reputed programs for cleaning browser cache on your machine.

Change the lower Video Quality

Many times we see slow buffering rate when YouTube tries to stream an HD video in slow internet speeds. You can speed up buffering speed by lowering the video quality. For example, if a 1080p video is facing hiccups while loading you can change the video quality to 720p. This will reduce the loading time of the video and streams up quickly.

Use YouTube DNS

Changing to the YouTube DNS will speed up the Youtube buffering speeds. To change the YouTube DNS follow the below steps.

For Windows 7/8/8.1/10 Users

  1. Go to Control Panel, click on Network and Internet and then Network Sharing Center.
  2. Click on change adapter settings.
  3. Now, right click on Local Area Connection and then select properties.
  4. Now, double-click on Internet Protocol version (TCP/IPv4)
  5. Here, add the following DNS server settings.

Now, click on Ok to made changes.
