NVRAM (Non Volatile Random-Access Memory) works like the BIOS in Windows. Same as BIOS, NVRAM stores many system core settings which run when your Mac boots up. Resetting the NVRAM will clear the problem causing settings. When you reset the NVRAM all the existing setting will delete and comes to the default settings.
