  8. Right-click on the “Cache” folder and rename it as cache.old.
  9. Now create a new folder by right-clicking on the empty space and then click on “New” and then click on “Folder“.
  10. Name this folder as “Cache“.
  11. If you don’t see any ‘cache‘ folder, right-click in the blank space, and then click on “New” and then click on “Folder” to create a new folder and name it as cache.
  12. Now, close the File Explorer and reboot the computer to effect the changes.

  1. Launch run by pressing Windows+R on your keyboard.
  2. Now, type or copy-paste this command “cleanmgr /lowdisk” in Run and hit Enter.
  3. Inside the Disk Cleanup program, Drive Selection window, from the option “Drives:“, select the drive where you have installed Windows.
  4. Here, select “Files to delete” option and then click on OK to start the cleaning process.
  5. It will take some time to clean up the junk depending on the size of the junk files on your system.
