These steps are works for Facebook desktop mode. Unfortunately, there is no straightforward option available for iOS or Android devices to make Facebook darker.

If the feature is not available in your country, but still you can make Facebook darker with the help of Chrome Flags.

To make Facebook dark mode permanently on Chrome by typing chrome://flags/#enable-force-dark into the address bar after the Facebook URL and Google Chrome will flag it as a dark mode.

Now close the Chrome and relaunch using the desktop shortcut and you will see dark mode in Google Chrome.

How to get Dark Mode on Facebook Messenger on Android or iOS?

Open the Facebook messenger on your Android or iOS device to follow the steps.

  1. Click on your profile picture on the upper left-hand corner.
  2. Now, find the dark mode and toggle it on.
