Cookie policy

Last updated October 29, 2026

This page explains the cookies and similar technologies used on thetechhacker.com, operated by Thetechhacker Global Solutions. Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser; “local storage” works in a similar way.

Thetechhacker is free to read because it is supported by advertising. We use Google AdSense to show ads and Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. Both are provided by Google, which sets its own cookies.

Your consent

If you visit from a country where the law requires your consent before these cookies are used (for example the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland), Google shows you a consent message the first time you visit. You can accept, refuse, or choose what to allow, and change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings button below or the link at the bottom of every page. Elsewhere, ads and analytics load normally, and you can manage them with the options further down this page.

Our own page-view counting does not use cookies and does not store your IP address: it counts visits in aggregate using an identifier that resets every 24 hours.

Strictly necessary

These keep the site working and secure, and remember your choices. They don't need consent.

Analytics

Google Analytics tells us which articles are read, how long for, and how visitors find us, so we can improve the site. Google processes this data as described in its policies; we don't use it to identify you.

Advertising

Google AdSense and its partners use cookies to serve ads, limit how often you see the same ad, measure performance and, where you allow it, show ads based on your interests. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Embedded posts and videos from social networks may also set cookies.
