Arc Browser: Accessible for All – Download Now

Arc Browser

Arc Browser, the much-awaited Mac and iOS browser from The Browser Company, is now available for everyone to download. After extensive testing spanning over two years, the app has officially launched with version number 1.0. Previously, users had to sign up for a waitlist, but now, they can head to arc.net and easily get the browser. Embracing this opportunity, users can experience the long-awaited Arc Browser without any delays and enjoy its features to the fullest.

Arc 1.0 has finally arrived, but it doesn’t bring any major flashy updates. The Browser Company appears to be confident that it’s now ready for a broader audience. We are testing the Arc for several months and, it does share some typical performance issues seen in browsers based on the Chromium engine. For instance, opening numerous tabs can cause your computer to slow down significantly. Nonetheless, with the official launch, more users can explore Arc’s capabilities and decide if it suits their browsing needs.

With Arc, you have the flexibility to create “Spaces” for seamless tab organization, a concept also employed by Safari. Just like navigating back and forth on a web page, you can effortlessly swipe between these spaces. Each space can adopt its unique theme, and tabs can be effortlessly moved between them to suit your preferences. The additional advantage is the ability to apply profiles within themes, making it easy to switch between personal and professional accounts by merely changing the space. This functionality enhances your browsing experience, enabling smooth multitasking and better organization.

In addition to its innovative features, The Browser Company from New York has introduced some enhancements to existing concepts, such as Split View. With this functionality, you can arrange up to four tabs within a single window, similar to Split View on macOS. While other browsers may allow a similar setup using multiple windows, Arc excels by seamlessly keeping split tabs connected to your spaces, ensuring a more organized and efficient browsing experience. This user-friendly approach makes multitasking a breeze and sets Arc apart as a well-designed and user-centric browser.
