Biometric Entry and Exit is coming soon to Orlando Airport says U.S. Customs

We have known that aviation industry is booming day by day. There is a quadruple rise in the number of flyers every day around the world. Earlier, the fares of airlines were too high so only the rich could afford it. However, there have been entries of airlines which offer tickets at lower prices so the middle class can also fly through airplanes. Now, one of the grudges of traveling through airplanes are the security checks on airports. It is known that you need to go 2 hours early to an airport before a flight to safely board the flight on time.

Now, as a welcome step for all the passengers around the world, U.S. Customs has made a huge announcement. The Customs department of America announced that Orlando Airport of Florida will become the first airport in the U.S. to have biometric entry and exit points.  However, there is no specific date given by the department as to when this will be available, the U.S. Customs announced it on June 21. It is already reported that Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is testing facial-recognition exit in 13 airports and arrival at 10 airports but it will be the first time that any airport will have this facility for international flights.

Also, it is known that implementing biometric entries and exits have much lower costs than any other method but there is always a concern of security. However, the facial recognition system is not here to make our lives any easier. It is understood that system verifies the identity of passengers boarding and leaving international flights at the gates however the traditional security checks will still be present during arrival at the airport. The biometric solution was also selected by the U.S. Customs due to the fact that Comparison data for photographs is also already on hand through data from the Department of Homeland Security
