LinkedIn Finally Adds Support for Sending Voice Messages

LinkedIn Finally Adds Support for Sending Voice Messages

If you have just graduated or are looking for a job then you must have heard about LinkedIn. It is the place where professionals connect with each other and add connections. We have also seen that LinkedIn messages are getting popular day by day for sharing messages.

Now, this messaging feature has got one more addition to benefit the users. The company has just announced that LinkedIn messages will now support voice messages too. This will help you send voice messages to your connections. Also, the company mentioned that you can send up to a 1-minute long voice message via LinkedIn messaging.

The company explains that this feature will be helpful for people to message on the go rather than taking the time out to type. For users receiving the message, they can “listen and respond when they have a free moment.” This will allow you to send voice messages on LinkedIn just by holding the v0ice icon and recording the message.

Once the recording is complete, just release the voice icon and the message will be sent. However, many users have already started to fear about the spam from voice messages on LinkedIn as well.

LinkedIn users have already started discussing the fact that anyone can send voice messages to anyone on LinkedIn now. This will mean that your messages are now a lot harder to decipher as you have to go through them by listening to voicemails as well, some of which may be important.

On the other hand, we get the feeling that LinkedIn got some data about people using voice messages on other platforms. This prompted the company to introduce voice messages on their platform as well in order to not let users go away from their platform. Now, we will get to know how the voice messages on LinkedIn perform once the feature is out for the public. Until then, we need to hold back our judgments.
