Live Listen is a live audio transmitting feature from your iOS device to your Airpods. Yes, this exclusive feature works only with Apple Airpods. When the Live Listen is enabled, your iOS device transmits the sounds in your surroundings to the AirPods.

This is a great feature for those who have some hearing problem. This option simply replaces the hearing machine use if the problem is limited. It won’t work for those who have serious deafness.

How to enable Live Listen in iOS 12?

To enable Live Listen feature you need to open Control Center. Here are the complete steps for the process.

Settings->Control Center->Customize Controls->Tap on + Hearing to turn on.

From the next time when you access Control Center, you will see an icon with ear along with other settings.

How to disable Live Listen in iOS 12?

To disable Live Listen, you have to follow the above steps once again.

Settings->Control Center->Customize Controls->Tap on + Hearing to turn off.
