Xiaomi is known for its smartphones that come at an aggressive price but also offer great specifications and features. However, the company is also known for launching plenty of smartphones around the year. We see many different lineups of smartphones from Xiaomi such as the Redmi series, Mi-series as well as the Poco lineup. Also, there is a Redmi Note series which is the top-of-line offering in that particular series. The latest smartphone in India from the Redmi Note series by Xiaomi is the Redmi Note 7 series.

However, you must be aware that the Redmi Note 8 series has been announced as well as available in the Chinese markets. This means that it will not take much time before we get those smartphones in India too. As far as Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 8 series is concerned, the lineup consists of Redmi Note 8 and Note 8 Pro. While the Redmi Note 8 comes with a Snapdragon 600 series processor, the Redmi Note 8 Pro comes with a MediaTek Helio G90T chip for the first time ever.

However, fans who want to see Snapdragon 700 series on the Redmi Note 8 Pro need not worry as we have evidence to suggest the company is already working on it. Yes, a new report has emerged which suggests that Xiaomi is working on a Snapdragon 730G powered Redmi Note 8T. Now, the naming of this smartphone is interesting because we have never seen a T variant in Xiaomi’s Redmi Note lineup.

Now, it will also not be a surprise if the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T indeed launched with a Snapdragon 730G processor. Because of the fact that Realme’s XT smartphone with 64MP primary camera also features this exact same processor. Therefore, it is obvious Xiaomi would like to give a tough challenge to Realme XT which is currently in a league of its own.
