We have always seen that Xiaomi releases some spectacular smartphones in the market. Also, they are known to consistently provide smartphones that offer exceptional performance at affordable prices. Now, we are talking about the Redmi Note series from Xiaomi in the company’s Redmi department.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 and Note 7 Pro were launched earlier this year in India. However, there were already launched last year back in China. Now, you would think that the same will be repeated and Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 and Note 8 Pro will be launched by year-end in China.

Well, that is partly true but the smartphones have already been launched in China. This means that the Redmi Note 8 and Note 8 Pro from Xiaomi go official in China with sales starting soon. Also, it indicates that there is still plenty of time left for Xiaomi to launch them in Indian markets as well. If everything goes right, we could see these smartphones in the Indian market before the end of 2019 or sooner.

Talking about the Redmi Note 8 series, it is the first smartphone to be commercially available with a 64MP camera on the back. We are talking about the Redmi Note 8 Pro which has a 64MP primary shooter while the Redmi Note 8 retains the same 48MP camera. On the other hand, Redmi Note 8 is powered by Snapdragon 665 processor while the Redmi Note 8 Pro has an Helio G90T from MediaTek.

Apart from that, Redmi Note 8 Pro also has a quad-camera setup while the Redmi Note 8 comes with triple rear cameras. Both the smartphones run on Android 9.0 Pie based on MIUI 10. However, the biggest part of the announcement regarding Redmi Note 8 series was its pricing.

During the launch, Xiaomi announced that Redmi Note 8 will start at just 999 Yuan which is equivalent to Rs. 10,000 in terms of INR. In addition, Redmi Note 8 Pro starts at 1399 Yuan which converts to Rs. 14,000 in INR. Considering the specifications and features of these smartphones, this is spectacular pricing from the company
