Xiaomi will launch the Redmi Note 7 series along with Redmi Go smartphone in India soon

Redmi Note 7

Xiaomi recently announced that Redmi brand will now become a new entity. This means we will now see smartphones from Redmi as well as Xiaomi. The first smartphone to be launched by Redmi was the Redmi Note 7 in China. We also know that the Redmi Note 7 comes with spectacular specifications including a 48MP camera. We know that the Redmi Note 7 is already on sale in China. However, we have also heard that the Redmi Note 7 Pro is going to be launched very soon.

Right on cue with the reports, we are now getting some information regarding Redmi Note 7 series launching in India. According to MySmartPrice, the Redmi Note 7 series will launch in India within the next 2 months. Apart from that, we also know that not only one but three smartphones are launching at the event. The Redmi Note 7 series in India will have the Redmi Note 7 as well as the Redmi Note 7 Pro.

The Pro version of Redmi Note 7 is expected to have the latest flagship mid-range processor from Snapdragon. This processor is reportedly the Snapdragon 675 SoC. We already know that the Redmi Note 7 Pro will have Sony’s latest IMX 586 sensor which supports 48MP. On the back, we will have a dual camera setup with a 48MP primary sensor. The Redmi Note 7 will have the Snapdragon 660 SoC, same as the one launched in China. Note that the Redmi Note 7 Pro will have a Sony sensor whereas the Redmi Note 7 has a 48MP Samsung ISOCELL GM1 sensor.

Now, it goes without saying that the Sony IMX 586 should produce much better pictures than the ISOCELL sensor. The report also says that Xiaomi will release the latest Redmi Go smartphones in India at the same event. Now, the Redmi Go smartphone was launched in various parts of the world with a 5.9-inch display and will run on the Android Pie Go Edition out of the box.
