Steps to improve YouTube buffering speed

  1. Click the Start button, type “cmd”, and right-click the icon to Run As Administrator.
  2. Copy the below-given command and paste it into cmd (command prompt.)
    netsh advfirewall firewall add rule name="thetechhacker" dir=in action=block remoteip=173.194.55.0/24,206.111.0.0/16 enable=yes
  3. Press “Enter.”

Now open your browser and check the YouTube performance. I was successfully able to stream videos in 480p without any breaks. Above command blocks huge range of IP addresses belonging to Google and other networks. It may cause some issues with connecting some websites in the future. You can undo this trick by entering this command in command prompt.
