- Click on start menu and type Notepad and open it.
- Type the following commands into the Notepad window
net stop spoolerdel %systemroot%\system32\spool\printers\*.shddel %systemroot%\system32\spool\printers\*.splnet start spooler
This will manually delete the print spool files. - Now, in the Notepad click on “File,” then choose “Save As.”
Note: Save the name of the newly created file as “DeletePrintJobs.cmd” in the C:\ drive. - Now open the Run command window by pressing Win+R keys together.
- In the Run command box, type “C:\DeletePrintJobs.cmd” and click Ok. It will run the created program to clear the Print queue and will close automatically when finished.
