Note: Twitter will only restore your account data if you are trying to reactivate your Twitter account within 30 days of the deactivation. The accounts that exceeded 30 days after the deactivation will be permanently removed from the Twitter servers and the process is not reversible.

To Reactivate Twitter Account

  1. Open your browser (Chrome of Firefox is better).
  2. Visit twitter.com/login. You should do this from a computer as the reactivation is not supported on mobile devices.
  3. Now, enter your account credentials including username or email address, and password.
  4. Click Sign in button.
  5. That’s it, your Twitter account is reactivated.
  6. If the reactivation is successful, you will see your account opened. But, it will take few minutes to completely restore all your account data including tweets and images.

If it says, account reactivation is currently disabled! just wait a few moments and try again. If you still facing the problem it might be due to the excessive days after the deactivation process. In such situations, you could contact Twitter support by filing a support request.

A reactivated account may show several fluctuations such as wrong followers and following counts, invalid Tweets, etc. it might take a few minutes or even a few hours to completely show your original Twitter wall. So, be patient during this time and don’t try to make any changes.
