Skype, as we all know, has been developed by Microsoft to become one of the best platforms for calling and chatting. However, people have started to use services like WhatsApp and Telegram more and more but Skype has still remained relevant for international voice/video calls.
Now, Microsoft has kept on improving its platform more and more so that the user base of the platform keeps on growing. Therefore, we have now seen a new addition to Skype which is its Call Recording feature which comes in very handy when we need to record our Skype calls same as regular calls.
Interestingly, Skype has planned to add this recording feature over the cloud which means that you can access this recording anytime from the cloud rather than storing them on your device which may get lost. Now, we all know that Skype is most famous for its VoIP-based calling features so we are glad that this feature is finally available for Skype users across all platforms.
Skype Recording feature for further explained by Microsoft’s Skype team. They said that “Call recording is completely cloud-based, and as soon as you start recording, everyone in the call is notified that the call is being recorded,” and added that “Call recordings combine everyone’s video as well as any screens shared during the call.”
Microsoft is also known to be testing a new ‘Content Creator’ mode for Skype which will let users stream their content easily on Skype itself. Also, we have known that the company is planning to add services like Xsplit, Wirecast, and Vmix to their platform so that the streaming feature gets a boost. Along with this features, we are hearing that Skype is soon getting a redesign for its Windows-based application as well to match with the UI of its Android and iOS applications.
