Meizu announced earlier this month that the company is making a comeback in Indian markets. This is because Meizu pulled out of the Indian markets some time ago. Now that the company has made a comeback, it is obvious that they will launch smartphones in the market. As a part of this comeback, Meizu has launched their latest flagship smartphone named as the Meizu 16th. This smartphone is a very close competitor to the OnePlus 6T according to Meizu.
Now, the specifications of Meizu 16th and OnePlus 6T are very similar too. First of all, the Meizu 16th has an in-display fingerprint scanner same as the OnePlus 6T. Apart from that, the Meizu 16th also has 8GB of RAM onboard, again similar to the OnePlus 6T 8GB variant. Also, Snapdragon 845 processor is present on both the Meizu 16th and the OnePlus 6T. The Meizu 16th comes with a 3D glass back with a ceramic texture and it will be available in Midnight Black and Moonlight White colour variant. The OnePlus 6T comes in a Midnight Black and Mirror Black variants apart from the Thunder Purple variant which is an exclusive one.
The Meizu 16th has a 6-inch Full HD+ display which has an aspect ratio of 18:9 and has a resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels. The smartphone is powered by Snapdragon 845 as we mentioned earlier. It has 8GB of RAM and Adreno 630 for GPU. However, the device still runs Android 8.1 Oreo whereas OnePlus 6T runs Android 9.0 Pie out of the box. The device has a single camera on the front and two on the back. The selfie camera on the front is a 20MP one whereas the back cameras are a 12MP primary + a 20MP telephoto lens.
There are some special features on the Meizu 16th such as 0-67 percent of charge in 30 mins which beats the OnePlus dash charge. On the pricing front, the Meizu 16th is available for Rs. 39,999 which is lesser than the OnePlus 6T 8GB RAM variant.
