Apple made an announcement at the WWDC about the latest software updates that the company is releasing this fall. Among the releases, the biggest announcement was of the iOS 12 of course. However, the other significant announcement from Apple was of the latest version of macOS named as macOS Mojave. As you may have guessed, this is the next version of macOS after macOS High Sierra which was released by Apple last year. Also, macOS Mojave comes as macOS v10.14 whereas macOS High Sierra was announced as 10.13. Apple also told that the Public Beta version of their latest software updates will be released soon.
According to its promise, Apple released the first public beta of iOS 12 as well as tvOS. However, the macOS Mojave public beta was not released yet. But, you will not have to wait any longer for it. This is because Apple has released the first public beta of macOS Mojave for the Mac users around the world. The release of macOS Mojave got delayed by a few hours but as they say, better late than never. Talking about the first public beta of macOS 10.14, it is same as developer preview 2 of macOS Mojave so if you already have that installed, don’t bother to install this one.
As for the updates in macOS Mojave, the biggest one is the support for Dark Mode system-wide. This means that you can set your macOS Mojave setting to light or dark mode depending upon your preference. However, for fans of Dark Mode, this is a blessing from Apple. Apart from that, macOS Mojave comes with Dynamic wallpapers that change color according to the time of day. On top of that, there is a feature called Desktop Stacks which has also been added. This feature automatically bundles similar items into a folder on your desktop so you don’t have to do the same. In order to get the update to macOS Mojave public beta, you need to enroll your Mac on the Apple Beta program website.
