Blaupunkt has entered India’s premium TV segment with two Mini LED Google TVs in 65‑inch and 75‑inch sizes, focusing on bright visuals, strong sound, and smooth gaming features. The panels claim up to 1,500 nits peak brightness, a 100000:1 contrast ratio, and local dimming with 288 zones on the 65‑inch model and 540 zones on the 75‑inch model for deeper blacks and better detail. Both screens support Dolby Vision, HDR10, and HLG and cover 95% of the DCI‑P3 color gamut with 10‑bit depth for up to 1.07 billion colors.
To reduce eye strain during long viewing sessions, the TVs include a Smart Eye Shield that cuts harmful blue light. For audio, Blaupunkt equips a 108 W, six‑speaker array (four tweeters plus two subwoofers) with Dolby Atmos and Dolby Digital Plus, promising a wider, more immersive 180‑degree sound field suited for movies, sports, and gaming.
Gamers get a 120 Hz refresh rate with MEMC, Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM), and Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) to minimize judder, lag, and tearing in fast scenes. The TVs run on Google TV with built-in Google Assistant and access to a large library of apps. Connectivity includes dual‑band Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, three HDMI ports with eARC, two USB ports, S/PDIF, and Ethernet—covering streaming devices, consoles, and home audio setups with ease. Inside, a quad‑core MediaTek processor powers the interface, paired with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage for apps and updates.
Pricing and availability in India start at Rs. 94,999 for the 65‑inch model and Rs. 1,49,999 for the 75‑inch model, with bookings opening on Flipkart from August 28 at 12 PM. Launch offers include a 10% discount with select credit cards and up to 6‑month no‑cost EMI to make the purchase more accessible.
Commenting on the launch, Avneet Singh Marwah, CEO of Super Plantronics Private Limited (Blaupunkt’s brand licensee in India), said the Mini LED lineup brings advanced display technology together with powerful sound, positioning it as a strong challenger to OLED in the premium home‑entertainment space.
These new Blaupunkt Mini LED TVs aim to deliver cinema‑like brightness, rich contrast, and premium audio at competitive price points for Indian households.
