Google recently launched their very own smartphone the Pixel and Pixel XL. These two phones have caused such a buzz in the tech world, so it’s no surprise that people in India have been waiting for when these devices will hit the market. You will be happy to know that Google has already announced that India will be one of the first countries where these devices will launch. The other countries are US, UK, Canada, Australia and Germany.
This was revealed during a tweet via the Google India account on Saturday. The tweet read as follows “The future is exciting and by future, we mean 3 days from now. #Pixel will start reaching stores on 25th October #madebygoogle”. The shipping date has been set on October 25th. It should be noted that these phones had been available for pre-order in India via the major retailers like Flipkart, Reliance Digital, and many others.
For those that need a date when the duo will hit the shelves, we’re sad to let you know that this information has not yet been revealed. In addition to that, India won’t see the Really blue color variant anytime soon. Instead, the Quite Black and very silver will be available. The Pixel 32 GB variant is expected to ship for Rs. 57,000 while the Pixel XL 32GB variant will be Rs. 67,000. The much bigger Pixel 128 GB variant goes for Rs. 66,000 and Rs. 76,000 for the Pixel XL version.
India has proven to be a battleground for many of the smartphone makers, so it’s no surprise that Google has decided to join the battle. The good news is that many of the major e-retailers are offering discounts as the festive season comes along. With that said, don’t be surprised if you see discounts on the smartphone duo that’ll soon be in the Indian market.
