Googlers protesting against the company

Google has been known to have the best work culture around the world. This is with regards to other IT companies around the world such as Apple, Microsoft and Facebook too. Now, the image of Google being a great place to work is due to the perks offered to their employees. First of all, Google’s Employees are known as “Googlers” which they are proud to be known by. Also, there is a great package offered to each and everyone. They are also given breaks for enjoyment, provided with free food and beverages and can also work from home. However, the real image of Google’s internal problems came out just recently.

We recently saw a story published about Google in The New York Times. According to the story, Google received an accusation of sexual harassment against former Google Employee. This Employee was none other than the founder of Android, Andy Rubin. Andy Rubin who is also known as the father of Android is critical in the development of Android. Seeing the stature of Andy, Google decided to tell Andy Rubin to leave the company. Moreover, Google gave an exit package to Andy Rubin for leaving the company. But the more disturbing thing here is that Google found the allegations against Andy Rubin to be credible. That’s why Google decided to let Andy Rubin go.

Now, Googlers have come out in protest against the company for this matter. According to the Googlers, they are protesting against Google to protect women against sexual harassers. Also, Googlers are also upset at Google for protecting the accused sexual harasser who is Andy Rubin in this case. This way, Google literally tried to bury the case deep inside so that there is no bad reputation against Andy Rubin. Later, Andy Rubin responded to The New York Times in a series of tweets which can be seen below
