Google I/O 2019 is the 11th annual developer conference from Google. At this event, Google announces all the new things and developments taking place inside the company. Also, plenty of new features are announced and the same was the case this year. We got to see the major announcements at Google I/O 2019 too. But we will like to add that this year’s I/O was all about privacy and refinement.
At the Google I/O 2019, the company announced an even more advanced Google Assistant. Showing the demo of its next-gen Google Assistant, the company made everyone go ‘Wow’. This is because the Google Assistant will now be working from the device itself. Therefore, it is much faster and responsive to use than before. Also, Google has reduced the size of its Google Assistant so that it can work on every device.
Also, Google Assistant will make use of continued conversations which was announced last year to open apps and take actions. This means that you will not have to say Hey Google or Ok, Google every time anymore.
Apart from that, Google announced improvements to Google Images as well as Google Search along with updates to Google Lens and Google Maps. Another important announcement at the I/O 2019 keynote was of Android Q which is Android’s next version.
Google confirmed that Android Q will be versioned as Android 10. We get features such as Dark Theme, Privacy Controls, Digital Wellbeing features and many more with Android Q. Google also released the Android Q Beta 3 for 21 devices which include phones from OnePlus, Realme, Techno, Essential, Nokia, Huawei and more.
Finally, Google also announced its new products in the smart home segment. This is the new Google Nest Hub Max and the Google Home lineup has been renamed as Google Nest. With Google Nest Hub Max, you get a camera as well as stereo speakers.
