Out of all the recent smartphone launches that we have seen, one company that was silent and almost forgotten was the Honor brand from Huawei. Now, one of the reasons we believe is the US-China trade war which has affected not only Huawei but Honor as well.
For this reason, the company has not launched a new phone in more than 3 months now. However, leaks have started to come once again regarding the upcoming Honor smartphone. The latest report reveals that the Honor V30 series which will succeed in the Honor V20 series will have a 60MP primary camera.
Now, we know that the Honor V30 series will not be the first to have those sensors but it is great to see the company still providing the best of the best for its customers. Apart from that, Honor’s V30 series is also said to be having 5G support which will definitely be a trend going forward in 2020. We can say that this will be one of the first smartphones in the mid-range segment to have 5G support.
Another interesting factor of the Honor V30 series will be that it will have a 4000 mAh battery capacity which will support 22.5W Supercharger fast charging technology.
As is the case with every other smartphone out there, the Honor V30 series will also have a triple rear camera setup while the 60MP sensor will be a primary one in this setup. Also, the Honor V30 series will be powered by Huawei’s flagship chip of 2019 which is the Kirin 990 that is based on the 7nm process.
We would also like to inform you that Huawei’s Kirin 990 processor comes with a 5G modem built inside it. So it makes it easier for Honor to include 5G support without adding any extra modem to the device for 5G. While the Honor V30 series is some time away from launch, we expect most of the above details to be accurate.
