Motorola announces September 10 as the launch date of Moto G6 Plus

Moto G6 Plus

Motorola has just announced that the Moto G6 Plus will be launching in India. Also, the company announced that the launch date for the device is set to September 10. This means that Indian users will be able to buy the Moto G6 Plus in a week’s time. Interestingly, Motorola launched the Moto G6 series in India a few months ago.

However, the company did not launch the Moto G6 Plus back then and had promised to launch the device at a later date. It seems that the time has now come for the announcement of the most premium device in the Moto G series.

Interestingly, the Moto G6 and Moto G6 Play are already available to users in India ever since the announcement was made. Talking about the Moto G6 Plus, it has a 5.93-inch IPS LCD Max Vision display that supports 18:9 aspect ratio and Full HD+ resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels.

Powering the Moto G6 Plus is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 chipset which is a slightly older processor. Keeping that aside, the smartphone will have options for 4GB or 6GB of RAM. Also, the device features 64GB of internal storage which can be further expanded via a microSD card.

Same as the Moto G6, the Moto G6 Plus has a dual camera on the back as well. This camera setup on the Moto G6 Plus has a 12MP primary sensor which has dual-pixel autofocus. There is also a 5MP secondary sensor on the device to complete the dual camera setup.

Also, note that this time Motorola has finally made the decision of embedding fingerprint sensor inside the Motorola’s M logo on the back. This was one feature that Moto fans were requesting for a long time and their requests have now been heard, finally. The Moto G6 Plus is expected to be priced in India around the Rs. 16000 mark which should be a decent deal for the specifications and its design.
